Wonder Woman is a strong amazonian warrior who is on of DC Comics three main superheroes. She is strong intelligent and beautiful! There is so so much I can say about Wonder Woman, but when it comes down to it, I have read comics since I was a child and I have always loved her and looked up to her! I have actually made many versions of Wonder Woman at this point but sadly I love the character so much I am never quite happy with the costumes so I keep changing and remaking them and they never really get a proper debut.
This Wonder Woman costume was really my first attempt at it. The main part of the corset is made out of cotton then the Ws and the bracers are made of Liquid Metal fabric. When I wore this costume to the Toronto ComiCon Fan Appreciation day in 2008 I wore a suit over it because unfortunately I cut my leg badly while working with sheet metal (I went right through my jeans and cut my leg) So I was business Diana Prince! The Ws for that version of the costume were made out of sheet metal (the very same metal I cut myself with) While I was dressed as Diana I had a tiny tiny adorable little girl come up to me and say very quietly "I know your secret identity!" And it was seriously the most adorable thing ever! That was the first time a child had ever thought I was the character and it was a moment that will stick with me forever!
This version of the costume is now retired, even though it never got a proper wearing, but I know I can make a new version that is much better, and that will happen!
The one photo in this gallery was taken by me and the other is sadly just a cellphone picture from the convention ^^;
